Interior inspiration: Black details
For this weeks interior inspiration I choose to single out black details in the interior. I saw it fit to start with black, since it seems like it fits into any interior style. The pictures I picked out, though, are mostly of what's considered the "scandinavian" interior. The thing I like about black, which is nothing new-is the class and seriousness it brings, even if it's the polka dot wall, for example(if it was in red or green-the first thought would be-childrens room). But the best thing about them is that they instantly bring attention to them. The photos testify to that.

After all the beautiful furniture I've seen in the past couple of days, it only seems natural that for my interior inspiration I go back to the basics: the danish credenza! elegant and monumental, this is a piece of furniture that's defiantly making it's big comeback, be it refurnished or repainted.
And for the end, here are a few vintage interiors. For me they always represent a source for inspiration.

Interior inspiration: mixing and matching chairs
Ok, so mixing different types and styles of chairs is something that is "so not design" and "so design" at the same time, right? But the exiting thing for me, in this regard, is how the right selection makes ordinary, old, garden... chairs pop, in a totally new light. I guess I'm one of those people who likes to salvage abandoned furniture, and give it a new shine, a new purpose... I feel like those pieces are the ones I learn from the most as a young, wanna-be designer, because usually they are designed in a practical, function-first manner, an important aspect...but I digress. In the end, I guess what I'm trying to say-I'm a huge fan of this!
