DIY

Novonapadao sneg, iako je jako hladno, je inspirisao mali papirni DIY projekat. Sve sto treba je par starih tegli, A4 papir, lepak(sto jaci to bolje) i kanap(ili ukrasni papir). Dosta moze da se eksperimentise ali ja sam se odlucila za "cistiji" izgled. Evo kako je ispalo!

The newly fallen snow (even though it's cold) sparked the inspiration for a little paper DIY project. All you need are old jars, A4 paper, glue(the stronger the better) and rope(or wraping paper). There is a lot of room for playing around, but I opted for a "cleaner" look. Here's how it turned out!

Home-made rings :)

Malo sam se znimala, isprobavala lepak za metal, i dobila neko simpaticno (a neko manje-vise) prstenje. Veci deo ovog prstenja je nesto sto sam nasla u Sorbonu, a ne znam cenu sluze, bitno je da ima lepu geometriju, a i jeftino je:)

I had some fun trying out my new metal glue I bought the other day. I made some cute, and others so-so, metal rings. All of them are made from stuff I found at a hardware store-not sure what their initial use is, but they had nice geometry, and were quite cheap.

Tijana's work: DIY, little concrete vases

Ovo je mala zabava + eksperimentisanje sa cementom +par praznih bocica od laka....a rezultat je nesto sto sam imenovala vazicama-mada su minijaturne!

This is a result of a little fun+ experimenting with cement +a couple of empty nail polish bottles... and what you get from that are really tiny vases!

Interior(furniture) inspiration: Bed side table!

Ideja mi je bila da nadjem neke ne tako standardne, malo inovativnije(a vecine su cak"uradi sam") ideje za nocni stocic!Pogledajte:

DIY -flower keychain

Ovo je mala zanimacija koja mi je pre neko vreme pala na pamet, zapravo razmisljala sam kako da uvek imam cvece u torbi!To je jedna od onih malih stvari koja me cini srecnom: odlazak na pijacu i biranje svezeg cveca. Posto cvece bez vode ne opstaje:) odlucila sam da napravim velike priveske za kljuceve sa cvecem koji ce mi uvek vireti iz torbe...(a i tako ne moram da bunarim po torbi da ih nadjem, na dohvat ruke su mi:)crveni za kucu, zuti za studio-nikad lakse)

This is a little project I was pondering, a few days ago when I was returning from the market with beautiful fresh flowers. I thought to myself that I would always love to have flowers in my bag! It's just one of those little things that makes you happy. Since flowers and water can't be separated, I decided to make realy large keychains out of fake flowers, taht would always stick out, and make it really easy to find your keys too(red roses are house keys, yellow for the studio-piece of cake:))

 I bilo je nikad lakse napraviti(sa malo zelene zice)! Samo mi je zao sto nisam nasla cvece koje deluje malo prirodnije-ali od sad ce mi to biti misija!

And it was more than easy to make(with a little green wire)! I only regret not finding more natural looking flowers- but from now on that will be my mission:)

A kad se stigne kuci cvetici idu u svoju vazu- ili u mom slucaju teglu.

And when you get home- the flowers go in their vase- or in my case a jar.

Tijana's work: My first DIY post :-)

Uradi sam: Uten.Silo! Odlucila sam da napravim ovu visecu svastaru jer me je primer DIY-a na design sponge sajtu ( koji sam stavila u sunday recap-u) jako inspirisao!

Do it  yourself: Uten.Silo organizer! the reason I took on this little project is because of the example of the DIY I found on design sponge , which I posted in the Sunday recap! It looked  amazing, and I wanted to give it a try!

 I evo kako sam to uradila(na slikama ispod). E sad, ja nemam masinu, tako da sam sve rucno sila, tako da je to malo oduzilo proces-ali za jedan dan je bilo gotovo. Izbor materijala je takodje bitan! Ja  sam zelela pastelne boje, jer kako se vidi na slikama, prilicno mi je sarena soba.Mada sada u retrospektivi, mogla sam i malo drecavije.

And here's how I did it(on the photos below) And the thing is, I don't have a sawing machine, so I did everything by hand, it did slow the process down, but I finished it in one day. I think the fabric choice is quite important, I decided to go with pastel colors, because as you can see from the photo below, my room is a little hectic. But in retrospect, I could've goon with a little more color.

Glavni materijal, koji drzi sve dzepice je kruzan, tako da omogucava da se i tu nesto smesti. U isto vreme to sluzi kao teg, i izravnjava materijal.

I left a pocket in the main fabric, ad made it a storage, at the same time, the things you put there weigh in and straiten out the fabric.
