Getting ready for an up coming project...

These are some mini experiments I did for a little project Barbara and I have been discussing lately.
They are woven from strips of fabric, that I just tore, that's why there are so many loose ends, I initially thought that I was gonna cut them off when I finished, but then I end up liking them.

Obviously this fabric is not ideal, but I quite like the colors, and I can't wait to try out some different ways of weaving it (or creating my own way) and getting some different shapes, apart from circles and squares! Thats the ultimate goal...



the pieces are quite small, but my cat instantly found a use for them!

At grandma's...

Today I spent a day at my grandmothers house, its full of memorabilia like lot's of grandmother's houses are...these are just some of them that caught my eye, the ones on the right are made by my grandma!:-)
